reference sheets
Custom reference sheets of your characters can be created on special order. A custom reference may feature no more than two views of a character. Clothing will not be included beyond very simple items such as scarves, bracelets, earrings, loincloths, swimsuits, etc. Genital and internal organ diagrams will not be included. You may choose to include one detail view in lieu of a second body angle or pose, which may be a mouth detail, or pelt/wing layout, marking/accessory detail.
As prices and work times on references are more variable, by placing an order you consent to variable completion time. Updates may come slowly and progress is more likely to be impeded by life and personal troubles - commissions are not a primary income source, and as such may not always take first priority. Please see the terms section for details about refund policy.
Starting rates for reference sheets are as follows:
BASE SHEET = $50 | 4000 gems
ADDED ANGLES = $15 | 800 gems + 1 key
DETAIL ITEMS = $10 | 800 gems
Price may increase or decrease depending on the complexity of the character and the sheet.

I will ONLY illustrate animals, furries, and monsters on commission. I will not create pornographic art involving genitalia or intense kink material, though I am comfortable creating mawshots and pinups for those who want them.
After ordering your commission via email, preliminary work will begin. I will work with you to determine what manner of piece you want and what sort of character you want to use, and you will eventually receive three or more thumbnail sketches of your piece. At this point, you are free to either choose one or take your business elsewhere.
You will not be billed for the piece until you have chosen a thumbnail you like. Once you have, work will be halted until payment is received. You may not request a refund beyond this point. If it is determined that your piece will not be finished in suitable time, you will be refunded without having to ask.
ICONS are handled on a by-case basis - I will typically endeavor to complete an icon commission within the week the icon was ordered, though most icons can be completed on the same day or the day after they were ordered. As such, there is no queue for icons, and icon commissions will not close unless personal circumstances are dire.
PORTRAITS are handled in a queue - the first portraits to be ordered will be completed before the next is started. You will be informed of your position in queue before you pay. Each portrait will take one to two weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the piece. Portraits may open and close depending on the size of the queue. Queue order will never be altered for any reason, so please do not ask to move up or back.
REFERENCES do not have a hard deadline, but should not take longer than two months to complete. References are special orders, and therefore have no queue; whether I agree to make a reference for you will depend on my present and projected workload. I will only work on one reference at a time, and will not accept new reference orders while working on one. References are third priority after icons and portraits.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A REFERENCE it will incur an added fee of $2 | 1 key to compensate for the character design work going into your piece - this applies to all commissions. Acceptable references are illustrated character sheets with minimal text explaining physical attributes, video game screencaps, and image collages of reference photos and graphics you want me to use when drawing your character. A text description or written reference to extant media (i.e, saying your character "looks like x" or is "x meets y") does not qualify as a reference.
And I will stress that this is not a primary income source, and as such will not take priority over daytime and professional work. If life gets in the way, I will pump the brakes; by placing an order, you affirm that you understand this and accept that it may happen to your piece. As previously stated, refunds will be sent in the event that I conclude that I cannot finish a piece, but refunds will be under my discretion and handled when I have the liberty to do so.
You may use completed pieces where you like, but must obtain consent from me before letting a different artist edit my work (using it for reference is fine). You are free to pay third-party printers to print my work for your personal use; you may not use my work for any commercial purposes without my explict consent. If you post or use a piece you bought from me, including my name credit and a link to this carrd would be appreciated, but neither is required.
